Bridge

The 1993 bridge season is well underway with games being played every Wednesday night, , in the Ruapehu College Senior Studies block, starting at 7.30pm. The numbers attending have been very low but it is hoped that they will improve once daylight saving has ended. On Wednesday 3 March only three tables were played with the following results: Ron Martin and Heather Cranston won the northsouth competition with 66% and Pauline Le Noel and Lauretta Eades scored 33% to beat phantom for second place. The eastwest competition was won by Jenny and Gordon Mottram with 66% and second place was won, with 50% by Brian Eades and Les Burns.
