Rimu seal

Sealing 200 metres of Burns Street should remain higher priority than the Rimu Street loop, the Waimarino Community Board confirmed at their last meeting. Rimu Street resident Phil Abel tried to change the board 's mind on its priority order, say ing the Rimu Street job would satisfy seven ratepayers while the Burns Street job would only reach one ratepayer. He said in terms of safety his job was more important as there were a number of accidents on the loop where 'hoons' lost control while driving round the loop.
