Water
The council may have to ; pay for some of the work, to fix the hammering problem currently plaguing the Ohakune water treatment plant, the Ruapehu District Council was told last Friday. Council general manager Cliff Houston said it was possible that the problem was starting in old pipes near the water supply intake.
