Ski people leave

Two of Turoa's senior staff left the company recently. Marketing manager Nancy van der Laan has left after 12 year's service to the company to move to Queenstown, and Ski School director Peter Reynolds and his family are on their way back to their home turf, Mt Buller ski area in Victoria, Australia. Nancy worked her way

up from being a snow hostess, to chief snow hostess, taking on the marketing manager's role three years ago. She said in her time at Turoa, which is only slightly shorter than the field has been in existence, she has witnessed many changes and enjoyed being involved with "the tremendous growth of the ski area over the years".
