Found guilty
Sir Andrew Grimwade, one of the controlling shareholders in the company that operates Turoa Ski Resort, has been found guilty of 19 fraud charges, the New Zealand Herald reports. Sir Andrew is expected to appeal the decision of the County Court jury. The 62-year-old company director was charged with fraudulently inducing investments of about $A11 million, the Herald reports. The 22-month trial was the longest criminal trial in the history of the State of Victoria.
