! The Ski Ruapehu marketing campaign is now firmly established as a force in the marketplace. For two years accommodation establishments, tour operators, adventure operators and the Whakapapa and Turoa ski areas have combined to market the Turangi, National Park and Ohakune Regions as an exciting winter destination with excellent results. Ohakune darts On 18 November there were a limited amount of players. Joanne Murphy had the highest start of 104, highest score of 104 and highest finish of 104. Overall winner of the night was Joanne Murphy. On the 25 of November there was a better attendance and and the results were as follows: Men; Stephen Wallace had the highest start of 120 and the highest score of 177. Arvell Wallace had the highest finish of 106. Women; Leeanne Beavis had the highest score of 150. Overall winner of the night was Stephen Wallace with six wins out of six games followed by Colin Cranston with five wins.
