Dux - Tanya Parker. Trophy presented by lan and Dorothy Meredith. Proxime Accessit - Nicola Cast. Trophy presented by Peter Berry and family. Loftus Shield - Nicola Cast. The winner of this award has made an outstanding contribution to College life being widely involved in academic, sporting, social, cultural and the service aspects of the College. Waimarino Shield - Awhina Edwards. (Donated by the Maori Community of the District) for best all-round pupil in academic, sporting and social areas including Maori culture and values. PrincipaPs Award - Geoffrey Pitts. The winner of this award has maintained a high involvement in College life contributing initiative and enthusiasm in a wide range of activities. Commander ATG (an award for leadership) - Tanya Parker and Awhina Edwards. Lions Award - Mei Ling Voon. This is a new award that covers the area of dedication to the College. The first winner is a student who, over the last five years, had typified the commitment to the College, staff and Board appreciate. Citizen Award - Clayton Waara. Throughout his school career Clayton has shown many admirable attributes. He has always behaved with courtesy and politeness towards both staff and his peers. He has provided leadership through example so that others around have been able to learn from him. His intluence has encouraged others in some cases to complete meaningful school programmes. Clayton is the type of person any of us would welcome as our neighbour, showing concern for all and a belief that you play the game by the rules.
