Waimarino darts

A pairs championship was held on Monday 16 November with some excellent darts being played by all members participating. The semi-finals was the most exciting with Greg Windle and Arvell Wallace taking the first game. However Stephen Wallace and Kaylene Crossan came back strong in the second game and won it. The third game would decide which two would go into the finals against Lou Most and Shaun Drinkwater. Once again Greg and Arvell came up trumps and went on to win the finals with Lou and Shaun coming second and Stephen and Kaylene taking third. Team game of 1001 was won by Arvell, Lou, Ken, David, Lois, Rosalind and Kaylene. Highest .start went to Ken Crossan with 160, highest score to Kevin Webb and Stephen Wallace with 180 and play-off went to Stephen. Kaylene Crossan took the highest finish with 104. On Monday 30 November is the club's break-up - a pot-luck dinner and starting time of 6.30pm.
