The Waiouru branch of New Zealand Post is to close on Christmas Eve. Sue Rodgers, postmistress for Waiouru New Zealand Post was able to confirm today the closure which follows closely on the heels of the Bank of New Zealand withdrawal
from Waiouru. Mrs Rodgers was anxious to reassure residents that postal delivery and other postal services would still be available in Waiouru. Negotiations are presently underway with local businesses eager to operate an agency j for NZ Post. *
