More adventures from OPC

The Sir Edmund Hilary Outdoor Pursuits Centre will once again be running their odyssey adventure courses throughout New Zealand in January and February.

These expeditions will take 10 New Zealanders and two instructors on epic adventures to places 'off the beaten track'. They will explore mountains, rivers, bush, caves

and oceans of New Zealand. People lucky enough to be on an odyssey will find themselves kayaking, tramping, mountain-biking, caving, rafting, sea-

kayaking and sailing the length or breadth of New Zealand. In 1993 OPC is offering a variety of odyssey programmes to try and fulfil a greater spectrum of needs in the community. As well as an odyssey for 17-22 year olds, there will be an adult odyssey for people 23 years plus and an odyssey for women. The Women's odyssey runs for the first time in 1993 and is a celebration of womens' suffrage year. The centre hopes to coordinate with womens climbing 'Summits For

Suffrage' and climb a volcano on the Central Plateau
