Ohakune bridge

The competition in the north-south direction was very fierce at bridge on Wednesday 21 October, with only five points separating the first four place-getters. After handicapping Mark Hays and Bob Tumataroa finished in first place with 56.18%. Second place went to Pauline Le Noel and Lauretta Eades with 54.85%, while in third

place with 53.63% were Les Burns and Heather Cranston. The east-west competition was less fierce and finished with Rita Kaiwhare and Betty Hammond in first place with a score of 56.73%. Not far behind on 56.15% were Bev and Colin Cox and back in third place with a score of 53.90% were Sarah Hamlin and Elaine Goldfinch.
