Waimarino darts

Last Saturday our club held their tournament with Winstones. The games played were 8ball, euchre, in-door bowls and darts. The competition was close, but Winstones won on the night. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who participated and for making it such a successful night. Sunday saw another busy day for our club as we had the Mananui Club visiting. Unfortunately a few members of their club

were unable to make it, so both clubs combined their players to make up numbers and a round robin was played. Another enjoyable day was had by all. Many thanks to the wives and mothers of club members who went out of their way to help with the meals. Results from singles night played on 19 October were as follows: Over-all winner Greg Windle with 7 wins out of 7; runner-up Arvell Wallace with 6 wins; highest start Nancy Parata with 132; highest score Stephen Wallace, Kaylene Crossan, Greg Windle and Kathryn Most with 140; play-off went to Stephen and highest finish to Kaylene Crossan with 67.
