Waimarino rest home appeal
A fund raising effort for the Waimarino Rest Home Appeal is to be held in the gardens of Elwyn Costello, 94 Clyde Street, Ohakune on 14 November starting at 10am. Anyone whQ would like to donate saleable items can contact Val Parkes 3858-315 or Mrs Costello 3858-159. talls selling cakes, sweets, plants, raffles, jumble, trash and treasure, and 'anything that is not tied down' are planned. Refreshments and a 'sausage sizzle' will be available. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy Elwyn's beautiful garden and make the most of the bargains available. If the weather is unsuitable the venue will be the Ruapehu Lions Den.
