Waimarino golf
The first day of summer conditions made play much more enjoyable for all competitors. The finals of Championships were played with the following results: Senior; J Ennis took the title for the third time from J Summerhays in an excellent contest which went right to the 36th hole. Hugh Geraghty continucd his good form to take the intermediate title from K McDougal and the junior championship went to J Mcllroy over C Heinold. The day's haggle results were: Senior; A Berridge 39, P Goldfinch and B Drinkwater 36. Junior; J Hansen 43, P Ennis 39 and J Pepene 37. The only two was scored by A Berridge.
