Congratulations are extended to the team of Ohakune Bridge players who travelled to Taihape last Tuesday night and successfully retained the Challenge Trophy. Well done. Well done also to Ron Frew and Brian Mason who won the Howell movement on Wednesday 30 September with 59.8%. Promoted from fourth to second place were Bill Te Karu and Jenny Mottram with 58.10% and up from fifth to third place were Mark Hays and Bob Tumataroa with a score of 55.55%. Fourth place with 54.85% went to Colin and Bev Cox who were relegated from third place and fifth place went to Elaine Goldfinch and Glenda Whale who were in ninth place before handicapping.
