On Saturday moming 3 October at 5.45am the Ohakune Volunteer Fire Brigade responded to a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Mangawhero Terrace and Martin Place. A Falcon ute had left the road smashing through the gardens of two properties before becoming implanted in the porch of a house. One person suffered minor injuries.
