POLICE FILE
• A regulation Turoa Ski Resort jacket was the only thing stolen from a vehicle parked in the skifield carpark last Wednesday. Ohakune police Constable Brian Wilson said it was just one of several jackets stolen this season. He suggested thieves may be using the jackets to get free access to lifts up the skifield. • One of Turoa' s distinctive vehicleS was stolen on Sunday night from the company's workshop on Burns Street, Ohakune. The Toyota Hilux was taken between 8pm and lam Monday and police are treating the theft as suspicious. The burglars must have known the combination of the digital lock to the building as there was no sign of forced entry. Mr Wilson said the stickers with the company's logo on the doors of the vehicle would be virtually impossible to remove without it being obvious.
