Green, green grass
• I am writing with reference to the "green green grass of home" documentary. Marijuana is the largest black-market industry in New Zealand and the nature of the law provides the
environment for this criminal activity. If a law in USA makes 10% of the population criminals it is considered an unjust law
as it is a majority trying to make a minority conform to their standards. The present law regarding marijuana in New Zealand is a minority attempting to make a majority conform to its standards. The police have zero chance of stopping people smoking. As Mr Lange mentioned on the above mentioned documentary, "the government may as well license it to get some income out of it." Also this would decrease the criminal element. There is a French strain with very low THC levels that is used as a fibre crop which makes better quality paper than radiata ever will, plus it is an annual resource crop. Any feed-back appreciated.
