Ladies Golf
Semifinals of the Waimarino Ladies Golf Club championships were played on Sunday and Wednesday of last week at Waimarino Golf course. In the Silver division, P Mowat beat A Barrett, C Leary beat J Martin. Bronze division, A Pritt beat L Drinkwater and B Frost was narrowly beaten by E Rush. The extra stableford was won by B Berridge with 37 points. A Pritt had a rare two and L Drinkwater won the raffle. Birdies were scored by G Whale K Greenwood and C Leary.
