Asthma in the family
If a child in your lamily suffers from asthma you will benefit from meeting and talking with other parents in a similar situation. To help this happen an asthma meeting is to be held at 160 Mangawhero Terrace, Ohakune on Tuesday 6 October at 1pm. Children are welcome. Maureen Hall, Asthma Educator from Wanganui Area Health Board, will
be present and willing to answer any questions you may have. The aim of the meeting is to establish an asthma support group for the Ohakune/Raetihi area which would meet on a regular basis to provide friendship and support to care-givers of children with asthma and further education in the field of asthma management by way of guest speakers,
videos etc. If there is someone with asthma in your family the asthma support
group is for you. For more information contact Alison phone: 3858186.
