Spring brings many extra events including the Peak to Powderkeg race, which features a bike ride down the Ohakune Mountain Road and downing a glass off beer to finish! Other events coming up are the Around the Mountains Road Relay, organised by the Army, and the Round Ruapehu Ride which is the second annual 160km ride-both these events happen in November.
