$1000 for marae and training

A successful batonsup was organised recently in aid of the Tirorangi Marae Development and the Parklands Restaurant training programme which is now being set up. $1000 was raised at the event which will be split between the two organisations. Organisers thanked the following sponsors

and helpers: Tirorangi Whanau Support Group & Tirorangi Marae Committee members who gave their time; Parklands Dairy staff; the many whanau who did baking; the "boys who did the hangi"; those who donated prizes; the Sue family for their administration; and Parklands Restaurant staff.
