Spring show this week
The Raetihi G arden Club is once again holding the Annual Spring Show, at the Waimarino Club Hall, on Thursday 17 September. Because of the rising number of exhibitors, it has been decided to open the hall earlier for staging exhibits, this will allow exhibitors plenty of time without the last minute rush of previous years. The hall will be open between 5 and 7.30pm on Wednesday 16 September and 7 and 9.30am on Thursday 17
September, Show day. The show will be open for public viewing from lpm. Two excellent judges, Anne Carse and Margaret Brewer, from the Wang anui Horticulture Society, will be judging the blooms. Afternoon tea, trading table and raffles will also be available from 1 - 4pm. Schedules are available now from McLean's Bookshop Raetihi and Kunicraft in Ohakune.
