Clean sweep for Whakapapa skiers

The Ski Yer Heart Out Slalom raced on Sunday 13 September turned into a clean sweep for members of the Whakapapa Race Team. In the women's event Georgie Bremner skied exceptionally well winning her first National points race beating Erin Dippie by 1.45 seconds. Current hot-shot Annika

Haywood fell halfway down the course after straddling a gate but recovered to take third place. The men's race was once again dominated by Chris Mosaed skiing on his home field with a winning margin of 6.62 seconds. Chris was in a class of his own when Ben Tidswell failed to

start. Richard Cauldwell took second place with Todd Haywood a very close third. Skiers of note were the Small brothers Michael and Geoffrey, the top placing Turoa Race Academy skiers. Watch these two in the future.
