Wednesday 9 September saw the first round of the championships played in reasonable weather. Silver division: P Mowat beat B Dempsey, A Barrett beat J Taylor, C Leary beat G Whale. Bronze 1: A Pritt beat P Mcllroy, L Drinkwater beat N Winter, E Rush beat H Cranston, B Frost beat G Fraser. P Mowat, P Mcllroy and D Deighton had two's and P Mcllroy won the raffle.
