The Waimarino Community Sports Education and Development Trust (WCSEDT) has just completed its first year of operation. The trust is now well established and applications for grants are coming in steadily. Trustees are now working to sell more of the trust's yearlong raffle tickets and are urging those who have
had their tickets for a year to renew them to stay in the draw. Grants already given total $11,741.42. These were to Phil Garland, three Raetihi divers, (Tina Mott, Kerri Allerby and Jessica Pope), motor cyclist Tim Coutts and the National Park Whakapapa Gymnastic Club. Prize money won to date amounts $5220. Winners have included G
Shepherd (Ohakune), A Foy (National Park ), J Flannery (Auckland), J Easton (National Park), Hukaroa (Raetihi), R Peck (Raetihi), C Melody (Ohakune), RD Eves (Ohakune), A Roke (Raetihi), JW&JD Foster (Ohakune), RK Fenton (Auckland), A Cotterill (National Park) and RJ & H.M. Koorey (Wang- ' anui). Trustees are willing to help applicants fill in
the forms to present their case for a grant. This ; would ensure that all necessary information is presented. Recipients of grants are reminded that they must fill in the Certificate of Expenditure and return it to the WCSE and DT as soon as possible. For more information contact Cathy McLean 06-3854 636.
