Raetihi ideas meeting

Raetihi 's retailers and business people seem unenthused about RiseUp campaign organised to promote their town, according to organisers. But thirty people, representing a good cross section of the other sectors of the community attended. "The afternoon was exciting and revealed a hidden enthusiasm for the development of Raetihi as a community," said one of the , Christie Christiansen. industry, possiblility of local control and ownership of Raetihi power station and researching bush, hunting and fishing tours I were some of the ideas that came out of the meeting. The next meeting will be held Wednesday September 16, at the Raetihi Hotel television lounge.
