Phone box rammed
The public telephone box outside New World Supermarket on Goldfinch Street, Ohakune was rammed four times by a vehicle late on Sunday night. Ohakune Constable Wayne Streeter said police are looking for a dark coloured, landrover-type vehicle with bull bars, and three people in connection with the incident. He strongly suspects the same vehicle was responsible for the destruction of a couple of the town's road and street signs.
