The Ohakune Volunteer Fire Brigade responded to a car accident 5km north of Ohakune on the Tohunga Road in the early hours of Friday morning. The car had left the road and rolled. Two fire appliances and the rescue vehicle attended. On Friday evening the brigade was called to a car

accident on Goldfinch Street. Two vehicles were involved and there were no major injuries. The rescue vehicle and two fire appliances attended. The brigade assisted ambulance staff on Sunday morning with a child who had slipped on some boards and had a nail implanted in his knee. Two fire appliances and the rescue vehicle attended.
