Win with Wilding Ways
A group steeped in modern New Zealand music history play Ohakune this weekend. Some of the members of These WildingWays were part of the Screaming Mee Mees - the only New Zealand group to debut a single at number one. Members are Michael O'Neil, Wayne Bell, Jason Dempsey, Glen Robson and Joel Haines. The Wilding Ways had an auspicious debut, opening the New Zealand concerts for U2 - playing to crowds in excess of 80,000 people. This-year they have continued their 'wilding ways' and opened for Jimmy Bames and Diesel at Mount Smart. Their • recently released album Paul is selling steadily and already three singles have been released from it. The first two - Can't Control Her and Take My Hand didn't race through the charts but were very popular and received good air play. The third single, just released; is Set Love A Sail. These Wilding Ways play Hot Lava Niteclub on Saturday 22 August. To coincide with their visit the Bulletin has a limited number of their three cassingles to give away. All have been personally autographed by members of the band. If you want to be in to win one of these, fill in the adjacent coupon and drop or post it to the Ruapehu Bulletin, 1 Rata Street, Box 122, Ohakune. Winners will be published in next week's issue.
