Master skiers to race
Here is chance for all those aged 30 and over to prove they've still got it. The New Zealand Skier Magazine Open Masters Race. The race is scheduled for Saturday 26 September and will be preceded by a week of optional race training with the Whakapapa Ski School. The entire week has
been planned as a social occasion with plenty of alternative activities should the mountain be closed. The race itself is run on a handicap system so everyone has an even chance. Entry fee for the race and prize-giving dinner at the Chateau is only $48.00.
