Groovers heatup

A capacity crowd filled Hot Lava nightclub on Saturday night to see The Exponents. It was a brilliant concert and a relief to see there is more to popular music than the bubblegum one-hit wonders and embarrassing remakes currently dominating the charts. Lead singer Jordan Luck predictably whipped his shirt off half way through the
show, but this probably had something to do with the incredible heat generated by the grooving crowd. They belted out all the old Dance Exponents hits, the best of which had to be Victoria, and had the crowd screaming the Beatles hit Hey Jude in the middle of one of their newer releases. The concert was amazing value at $10... they're a much underrated band.
