f Netball on Saturdays is starting late due to teams failing to tum-up for their duties. Teams failing to turn-up or make other arrangements are penalised by losing their points if they win. There were some close
games on Saturday 1 August and Karioi had a big win over Navy. Results are as follows: Karioi, 50 v Navy, 22; Transport, 32 v Wai Panthers, 18; Waimarino, 24 v College 3, 20; MG's, 23 v College 1, 22; Central, 17 v Ruapehu, 17; Checkers, 24 v College 2, 24. Draw for Saturday 5 August: 9am; Cl, Ruapehu v Panthers, umpires Eva/La, C2, Transport v MG's, umpires A Edwards/L Poka, C4, Seekers v Waimarino, R Hepi/Central. 9.55; C2, College 3 v College 4, umpires I Rahi/K Wilson, C3, Karioi v Central, A Litt/S Pepene, C4, College 1 v Navy, J O'Sullivan/L Winiata, Bye Checkers and College 2. All College teams are on Court Duties.
