Walk for a rest

The Waimarino Rest Home appeal will benefit from the strides of a group of sponsored walkers next Saturday. Organiser Val Parkes said the group is looking for more walkers, as well as sponsors, for the walk which will start at the Raetihi Police Station at 10.30am and finish at the Ohakune Jubilee Park. Sponsored walker's forms are available from Ohakune Shoes, Val Parkes (ph 3858 315) or the Waimarino Rest Home Drop In Shop, Seddon Street, Raetihi.
