During the proposed period of closure emergency traffic will be let through as soon as possible. Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of his/her objection and grounds thereof in writing before 14 August 1992 at the office of the Council at Huia Street, Taumarunui or Miro Street, Ohakune. Date of Proposed Closure: Saturday 12 September 1992. SCHEDULE OF PROPOSED CLOSURE OF ROADS: 1 Ongarue Back Road from Okahukura to Ongarue, Ngakonui-Ongarue Road from Ongarue to Taringamotu-Otamakahi (Stewarts Road), from 8.15am to 11.30am. 2 Hikumutu Road from Wanganui Valley Road to Otapouri Road, Otapouri Road from Hikumutu Road to Walkers residence, from 10.00am to 12.30pm. 3 Raurimu-Kaitieke Road from Raurimu to Mangahoe Road, from 10.45am to 1.30pm. 4 Kawautahi Road from Oio Road to T. Gainey's residence, from 11.15am to 2.30pm. 5 Opotiki Road, Ararimu East Road, Otunui North Road, Kururau Road from Otunui North Road to Opetea (River) Road, from , 1.00pm to 4.30pm.
