Long look trip for PTI

BY

JAN

SAVELL

Last night (Monday 13 July) SSgt Paul Creedy flew out of New Zealand bound for II Sigs Regt in Cattrick, England. SSgt Creedy is taking part in the Long Look programme of exchange between the British and New Zealand Armies. Paul will spend four

months working with his host unit, observing the operation of their physical training programmes while W02 Mariner, PTI for the II Sigs Regt, will take his place as Second in Command for the Waiouru Physical Training Instructors.

Paul is looking forward to seeing the British Physical Training School and visiting the world-renowned rehabilitation centre at Aldershot. "A few years back W02 Rogers (another PTI) went to a rehab centre in Germany. It

was huge - over 1,500 staff alone. He's not sitting down writing operational procedures for the NZ Army's rehabilitation programme. I'd like to see a smaller one, similar to what we can have in New Zealand" said SSgt Creedy.
