At the recent 22nd annual Okahu Stud bull sale there was a good attendance, with 25 bulls being sold and three passed in. The average price was $3,109. Top price was for Okahu Kiwi Magic, sired by Kilmorlie Genesis, at $6,500 to Karen Gibbs of Taroa, Taihape. Second price was $6,200 for Okahu Granite 19, who was sired by Okahu Granite, a 1,400kg home-bred bull. Okahu Granite's sire was Granstone Granite, the all-time American champion. Okahu Granite .19 was sold to Garry Brennan of Mangakino. Third top price was $5,000 for a bull sold to Mount View Station.
