Raetihi Pony Club report
The Raetihi Pony Club ended their season on 10 May with a games day followed by prize giving and afternoon tea. Due to inclement weather the prize giving and afternoon tea was held in the Presbyterian Church Hall. The Pony Club thanked Mr Alan Bowater for the prizes he1 donated. The cup presentations forj the 1991-92 season were:| Attendance: Jnr, MacLean Cup. Claire Hyland; Int, Vet Club Cup, Nicola Smith, Cushla Edgarten; Snr, Dobson. Bros Cup, Sally Williams. Groom and Turnout: Jnr,' McWilliams Trophy, Briar McGregor; Int, C and B Fredricksen Cup, Nicola Smith; i Snr, Kui - Griffin Cup, Cindy' Langdon. Most Improved. Rider: Jnr, McGregor Cup, Claire Hyland, Virgina Morris; Int, McGill Cup, Marnie McGregor; Snr, Bowater Cup, Katrina Wilson. Waipuna Ridge1 Trophy, this is for the best aliround Pony Club person, Vicky Pearson. Sir William Special Award, for an adult who has contributed a lot to the Pony Club, Adrian Maru. Jnr certificate of merit, Michelle Fredricksen. Most Improved Tiny Tot, John Seifert. Certificates of Progress and Participation, Mary Seifert, Mark Hyland, Kirk Lilburn, Clive Fremlin. Most Supportive Parent, Rachel Hyland. The club congratulated the children who sat and passed their 'D' Certificates on 23 January: Virgina Morris, Briar McGregor, Michelle Fredricksen, Claire Hyland and Kelly Godfrey. In May Cindy Langdon sat and passed her 'B' Certificate. On 25 May the Raetihi Pony Club held their AGM at the Waimarino Club. The elected ' officers for the 1992-93 season are: President - Alison McGregor, Secretary - Patty Smith, Assistant Secretary - Glenis Langdon, Co-ordinator - Heather Lilburn, Publicity Officer - Cindy Langdon, Hostess - Maureen Edgarten.
