Museum given Raetihi Building
The old Acclimatisation Society rooms in Raetihi are no longer required by the new fish and game council, so they propose to gift them to the Waimarino Museum Society, The community board was told recently. The board was asked to approve the resiting of the rooms to the Mu-
seum site in Seddon Street Raetihi. The land there is council land. The board decided to ask the fish and game council to negotiate directly with the museum society on the matter. "If the two organisations are happy to have it relocated there, we would have no problem with that," said Mayor Garrick Workman.
