Waimarino Ohakune Bridge results darts

A singles evening was held 8 June. Highest start Greg Windle 115. Highest score Roslind 153. Highest finish Kath Most 100. Overall winner Greg Windle, 8 wins. Runner-up Arvell Wallace 7 wins. All players scored very high points through the evening from 100, 140 to 153.

The cards at bridge on Wednesday 10 June were very ordinary and it was a case of making the best of a bad deal - no pun intended. Those who did make the most of the cards they were dealt were John Eades and Mark Hays who scored 54.03% to win the north-south di-

rection. Second with a score of 53.87% Were Ron Martin and Gordon Mottram. Bill Te Karu and Bev Cox scored very well in the east-west direction taking first place with 65.70%. Also scoring well to take second place east-west were Betty Hammond and Sarah

Hamlin with 63.76%. The 10th June was the third night of a three night competition and was won by Bev Cox with 183.30 points. followed closely by John Eades on 191.81 points. In third place with 167.09 points was Betty Hammond.
