Ski staff cars cause problems

Council officers have been asked to prepare a report on the problem of cars parked too close to the road on the corner of Clyde and Burns Street, during the ski season. Community board member Ben Goddard said Turoa staff using the company's workshop carpark, park their cars right up against the kerb, leaving no room for pedestrians. There is no formed footpath beside the corner. "The cars parked that way force people to walk on the road," said Mr Goddard. He said he asked about the problem last winter but nothing was done.
