Bridge on Wednesday 3 June consisted of twenty-two boards played using a Howell movement. The first four placings remained unchanged after handicapping and they were as follows: first, John Eades and Tani Blackburn 71.0%; second, Gordon Mottram and Sarah Hamlin 65.03%; third, Ron Martin and Heather Cranston 54.43% and fourth Bev Cox and Colin Cox 54.42%. Fifth place went to Elaine Goldfinch and Glenda Whale who were promoted from seventh place with 50.40%.
