PUBLIC NOTICES I ■■ Hunting Programme 1992 e CONSERVATION TE PAPA ATAWHAI Conservation From 1 June to 31 December 1992, the Department of Conservation, Taumarunui is carrying out its annual wild animal control programme along the Whanganui Rivertrench from Atene to Taumarunui. Included in this programme are paris of the Whanganui National Park, plus scenic reserves and conservation stewardship lands in the Kirkau/Te Maire, Retaruke/Kaitieke and Mangatiti/Ruatiti areas. Hunting will concentrate on goat populations. However any domestic stock encountered in these areas after 1/6/92 may be destroyed, sold or otherwise disposed of as per Section 96 (2) Reserves Act, Section 36 (3) Conservation Act and Section 62 (3) National Parks Act.
