Netball
Although cold conditions were forcast netball was played in reasonable fine conditions Saturday, which was grading day for the ladies netball. Some really close games were played. Saturday 16 May is the first day of competition. This season we will hav mixed social netball starting at 8.30am. As it is school holidays there will be no netball for the college teams on the 16. But they will play on the 25. The grades are as follows: A Grade Karioi, Transport, Central, College 1, Ruapehu, Seekers, MG's and Raetihi. B Qradq College 2, College 3, College 4, Checkers, Navy, Waimarino, Waiouru Panthers. The draw for Saturday 16. 8.30 C2 Macl v Transport 1 (umpire Karioi), C3 Ramblers v Mac 2 (umpire MG's), C4 Karioi v Raetihi. Transport 2 Bye. 9.15 C1 Central v Ruapehu, C2 Transport v MG's, C3 Navy v Waimarino, C4 Checkers v Waiouru Panthers. Seekers Bye All teams will be on rubbish duty.
