Dressage champs

Three Waimarino riders represented King Country at the zone finals at Taupo. They were Cindy Langdon, Fiona Evans and Vicki Pearson. Cindy Langdon gained a second place on Alcazar in the Championship test. The Waimarino North Island Championships (HT) team consisted of Fiona Evans, Cindy Langdon, Katrina Wilson, Kirsty Mcllroy and Vicki Pearson. All riders scored well at the dressage phase but show-jumping unfortunately saw only one clear round. Cross Country was also to cause a few problems but still two clear rounds were ridden. Cindy Langdon and Fiona Evans now ride for King Country at the New Zealand Pony Club Championships in Blenhem 14-16 May with Katrina Wilson and Kirsty Mcllroy reserves which travel with the team.
