Shop locally--shop around
• Re your add page 12 Bulletin 5 May 'Shop Locally' I have always supported local retailers. Recently I purchased, locally a 1.8 Ltr Arcoflam saucepan for $62. Unfortunately two weeks later I dropped it and broke it. I returned to the shop of the original purchase to try and replace it but was told "they are hard to get". Recently while in Wanganui I thought I might try there for a replacement. I found a shelf of Arcoflam saucepans, plates etc and was told by the salesperson "no they're not hard to get". I purchased the exact same pot same colour, same size, same box at a cost of only $27.98. I took the receipt back to my original place of purchase and showed it to the salesperson. Maybe a mistake, any chance of a small refund? "No, sorry. That saucepan sells here for $62. sorry I can't help". I cannot blame locals for shopping around now after this happened to me.
