Success for Raetihi cowboy
A Raetihi cowboy has finished the 1992 rodeo circuit and is happy with his results. Craig Wiggins has travelled 5000kms, to compete in rodeos, from Rotorua to Kaitaia. Overall he was placed third in the bronc riding and sixth in the bull riding. Out of 50 cowboys he came seventh over all in the national points
competition. At Tepohue, the highlight of Craig's day was coming second in the bronc riding, being placed third in the bull riding, and winning the most money, making him cowboy of the day. At Walkworth he won the bull ride and again at Kaitaia the next day. Craig thanks Starline and Wellington Cafe for sponsoring him.
