Fashion show gears up
Ohakune's self proclaimed annual social event of the year is gearing up to show off the latest fashion gear. Wednesday 6 May is the date to mark on your calendar, when the annual Fashion Show is to be held at Hot Lava Niteclub. As well as all the latest winter and ski fashions, the Ezibuy Cheerleaders from Palmerston North will be providing entertainment for dedicated followers of fashion (and the not-so-ded-icated).. Proceeds from the event will go to the Ohakune Primary School, the funds to be used to upgrade the playground. As in past years local models will parade the fashions provided by Promenade Fashions, Junction Ski Shop, Jean City and Ragtime. Tickets are on sale at $16 per single, which includes two complimentary drinks and a "lavish" supper. Tickets are available from the above fashion shops. Raffles and spot prizes will be available on the night also. Organisers urge readers to get their tickets early and get along to the. "social event of the year".
