Heart beat for health
All 320 Waiouru school children increased their heart beat by doing healthy activities last Wednesday. The afternoon was initially planned for 7 April on the World Health Day, but due to a doubtful weather forecast, it was postponed one week. As part of the World Health Day on 7 ' April Waiouru pupils
crunched apples donated by ENZA in support f the American's Cup Challenge. The organiser, Michelle Parson-Sim said that the days activities were just for fun. Last year she organised a similar programme, "Jump Rope for Heart", which was a sponsored event to raise monty for the Turnpage 7

From page 7 Heart Foundation. The Heart Beat for Health Day's activities consisted of 20 different activity stations. There were 15 children per group from new entrants to Form 1.. Each teacher supervised a station, and the children had eight
minutes trying each activity. Some activities included many different skipping tasks, obstacle courses, hoop skipping, congo train movement with music, hockey dribbling and relay activities, and a painting murale station.
