Ladies golf
The first round of the Toanui Trophy Match play on handicap was played 8 April. Excellent golf saw all of the matches end on the 17th or at the 18th. P Mowat beat L Drinkwater; N Cranston beat B Berridge; A Barret beat S Bright; P Chambers beat J Martin and H Cranston beat D Winchcombe. The other players played a stableford round won by M Kennedy who had a sizzler with 40 points. B Berridge won the raffle.
